- Commute Trip Reduction Program.
- Respond to urgent invasive species introductions and participate in immediate containment operations as directed.
- Participate as directed in Japanese beetle or other invasive species projects.
- Conduct surveillance and monitoring surveys for Japanese Beetle and other invasive pests with potential regulatory implications.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Effective use of technology to efficiently and accurately complete daily tasks
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- One year experience in survey, eradication, research or environmental biology.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license.
- CPR/First aid certification or the ability to obtain certification prior to the start of the active survey season.
- Two years experience in detection, survey, control or eradication of pest or invasive species; supervisory or management experience can substitute for one year of survey experience.
- Education involving major study in biological science or closely related field.
- Familiar with the Spanish language.
