Our ALOHA™ and Voltaix® products are critical to the manufacturer of the newest computer chips required for Big Data and the Internet of Things.How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?The IT Operations Supervisor is responsible for the design, operations, monitoring and growth of IT assets across all US and APAC sites within Air Liquide Advanced Materials. This includes server infrastructure, storage, networking, and backup across both business network and industrial network systems. In addition, the Operations Supervisor is responsible for management of the IT support infrastructure, with a focus on providing Tier 2/Tier 3 support for all ALAM users across US and APAC sites.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Scalable network design, planning, and implementation compliant with corporate standardsSite reliability design, engineering, and ongoing maintenanceBackup infrastructure management and designIndustrial IT security managementIndustrial IT infrastructure managementFirewall management, support, and design to support internal applications and growthServer management (Windows Server 2022, 2019, 2016) to support internal application development teamEscalated support desk resources for high priority issues impacting businessAfter-hours escalation contact for any IT issue across all sitesManagement of IT operations team responsible for server management, network management, industrial network hardware, and escalated user support.Design, implement and scale IT infrastructure that supports business needsCollaborate with corporate IT groups around the globe to deliver the best possible service to internal and external customersWork closely with business stakeholders in designing solution and estimating effort for new capital initiatives from an IT standpointCapital project/budget planning & executionDocument critical performance metrics to ensure optimal performance of all ALAM assetsLead team with a wide array of responsibilities across the globe, while performing within budget and on time.Successfully complete all assigned trainingTechnical Competencies:Windows Server 2022, 2019, 2016Active Directory in a multi-domain and multi-site environmentGoogle G SuiteVMware ESXi, vSphereVeeam Backup & ReplicationSQL/Database design & management expertiseLinux (ESXi, Ubuntu Server, RHEL)Dell PowerEdge Servers, EMC SAN/Data Domain hardwareExperience with a wide variety of networking and security/firewall vendor equipment, ranging from Cisco, Aruba, Sonicwall, Dell, Palo Alto, etc.Thorough understanding of networks including TCP/IP data flows and firewall ACL'sLAN networking, VLAN management, Ethernet switches and wiringPowershell/Bash scriptingIT Inventory management, purchasing, and maintaining vendor relationshipsDisaster recovery and continuity planningVulnerability assessment and remediation, security awarenessNetwork architecture planning in hazardous environments (Class I Div II, etc.)Are you a MATCH?Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or Information Technology10+ years experience in a Windows system administration roleMeets key technical competenciesStrong working knowledge of networking technologies and platformsExcellent project management, organizational, record-keeping, and documentation skillsExceptional interpersonal skillsEffective working with teams to accomplish shared goalsCommunicates effectively with colleagues, customers, and managementAble to manage several business critical projects simultaneously while maintaining day to day operationsEffective at diagnosing and solving technical problems and coordinating service provider support when necessaryUnderstands the IT support environment and requirement to adjust schedule when necessary to perform upgrades, maintenance, and other tasks with least disruption to the businessAbility to create and deliver presentations or trainingAble to travel when necessary to support other sitesAble to provide off hours support when requiredOur Differences make our PerformanceAt Air Liquide, we are committed to build a diverse and inclusive workplace that embraces the diversity of our employees, our customers, patients, community stakeholders and cultures across the world.We welcome and consider applications from all qualified applicants, regardless of their background.
