- Assist with the coordination of a guests' stay with luggage, valet and other guests requests
- Ensure every guest is greeted and acknowledged with the aloha spirit
- Assist with the hotel's bike and golf club programs. Ensure that proper waivers are signed and equipment is returned in the same condition
- Control bell storage area; receive and issue claim tickets for baggage to be stored. Retrieve luggage when claim tickets are presented
- Assist with group transportation and luggage movements
- Support expeditors and shuttle service when needed
- Provide unique experiences to all of our guests through warm, personal & detailed service in a luxury, upscale and fast paced environment.
- Ensure a positive first impression of the resort for our guests through detailed cleanliness, set-up and ambiance control.
- Try to remember individual’s names and their preferences to extend a personalized service
- Assist other rooms division departments with their operations during peak times or when required
- Apply necessary precautions with regards to the hotel safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
- Be well versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management of the Hotel
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
- Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
- Detailed & service oriented with an eye for detail to be self-motivated and energetic.
