We have a state of the are nearly 80,000 sq foot manufacturing facility and passionate team that takes in pride in delivering top of the line products to our customers! We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer that shares our passion and is looking to join an established yet growing team!In return, we offer:

Who you are:
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or similar discipline (5+ years related experience if no bachelors)
  • Quality experience in aerospace manufacturing environment
  • Extensive experience reviewing customer requirements and working with suppliers
  • Experience with ISO and AS9100 standards including audits
  • Experience utilizing tools such as six-sigma, lean, 8-D, CAPA, PFMEA, 5 Whys etc.
  • Six sigma green belt preferred
  • FAA experience preferred
What you will be doing:
  • Define, select, and apply elements such as policy deployment, benchmarking, goal setting, planning and scheduling, project management, and quality information systems.
  • Describe and apply cost of quality concepts, including quality cost categories, data collection, reporting, etc.
  • Define, apply, and analyze the results of customer satisfaction measures such as customer complaints, RMAs, etc.
  • Identify, define, and apply the elements of a documentation system such as configuration management and document control.
  • Identify the content and applicability of AS and ISO quality standards.
  • Apply the concepts and techniques of various types of quality audits such as product, process, system, registration, certification, management, and compliance.
  • Classify quality characteristics including seriousness classification of defects when necessary (i.e. KCs for SPC).
  • Identify sources of design input such as customer needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Use common elements of the design review process, including roles and responsibilities of participants.
  • Lead and implement effective process control measures to capture process defects.
  • Apply sound systematic problem-solving methodologies to identify, communicate, and resolve quality issues.
  • Seek and document lean process improvement ideas for the department.
  • Establish and maintain PFMEAs, Net Inspect, SPC and Control Plans.
  • Review and approve Routing Changes.
  • Deal face to face with customer issues, facilitate meetings and develop documents and letters for customers.
  • Support Material Review Board activities.
  • Analyze and improve Human Factors.
