- Maintain electronic personnel files, records, and documentation, and ensure data integrity in HR database(s), while adhering to the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records;
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all incoming employee requests and questions;
- Act as the resource to support managers in responding to questions referencing benefits, time off, and policies and procedures;
- Assist Leadership team with internal communication initiatives;
- Work closely on HR projects, utilizing multiple reporting systems to analyze HR data and create metric summaries;
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations;
- Assist in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals;
- Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed; and
- Ensure managers and/or leads are providing the proper training for new hires.
- Assist leadership in conducting recruitment effort for any and all open positions;
- Manage the full cycle recruitment process which includes but is not limited to sourcing, screening, selecting, hiring, and onboarding;
- Conduct new-employee orientations which include but are not limited to reviewing new hire paperwork, going through Company policies and procedures, providing a tour of store, and making introductions to other staff members; and
- Provide new hires with mandatory Sexual Harassment training.
- Employee Relations · Handle employee relation matters which include but are not limited to coaching managers, conducting investigations, researching policies and best practices, creating and gathering documentation, and coordinating escalations when necessary
- Sitting at a desk for sometimes long and continuous periods of time
- Answering or making calls on the telephone for sometimes long and continuous periods of time
- Using a keyboard to perform research, and to communicate through written means for sometimes long and continuous periods of time
- Looking at a computer monitor for sometimes long and continuous periods of time
- Occasionally standing, walking, reaching, and stooping
- Lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Exposure to low to moderate noise level
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in HR or equivalent professional experience preferred
- Three (3) to five (5) years of human resources experience preferred;
- Knowledge of HR Policies & Procedures required
- Knowledge of employment and labor laws required
- Bilingual - Spanish required
- Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills and ability to meet tight deadlines;
- High degree of professionalism and demonstrate integrity and flexibility;
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking skills, with high attention to detail;

- High proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint;
- Ability to learn how to use isolved payroll; and
- Working knowledge of all standard office equipment;
