- Greet guests, presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and beverage menu items and daily specials.
- Working knowledge of spirits, beer and wines.
- Writes order on check and enters ordered items in POS system.
- Serves courses from kitchen and bar.
- Prepare coffee tea and specialty coffee to order.
- Observes diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
- Presents check and accepts payment and reconcile receipts.
- Clears and resets counters and/or tables at conclusion of each course, arrange table setting.
- Runs food from kitchen for outlet as directed by Chef or Manager.
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, including proper handling of alcohol and sanitation procedures.
- Ensure responsible service of alcohol and comply with age verification requirements.
- Maintain a clean work and organized environment and ensure all health and safety regulations are followed.
- Oversee the opening, side and closing duties of dining areas and ensure tables are properly set.
- Train new waitstaff and ensure they follow restaurant policies.
- Assist manager in inventory counts and orders supplies as needed.
- Other duties may be assigned.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 2 years serving experience in a full-service restaurant.
- The ability to multitask while providing exceptional guest service.
- Ability to effectively communicate and provide direction to restaurant employees.
- Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and peripheral vision. Employee may be required to pass a functional capacity test developed for this job.
