The Process Engineer will be responsible for the development and improvement of my client's manufacturing processes. Working closely with the VP of Engineering, you will handle/interpret blueprints & engineering documents to determine best manufacturing practices.
  • Read/interpret customer blueprints, and plan & develop manufacturing processes based on specifications
  • Design custom tooling/fixtures and handle sourcing of anything needed externally
  • Prepare quotes/part estimates based on customer specifications and deadlines
  • Create and modify bills of materials
  • Spearhead projects centered around improvement of facility layout and workflow
  • Work closely with Quality team to handle APQP/PPAP
  • Troubleshoot industrial machinery as needed

  • Mechanical engineering background; Engineering degree preferred but can be made up for with experience
  • 4+ years professional experience in manufacturing, ideally working in the automotive industry
  • Knowledge of metal stamping & progressive dies
  • Working knowledge of Engineering documentation - BOMs, ECOs, Blueprints, CAD files
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling software
  • Track record driving process improvements for manufacturing
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

  • Base salary $75,000 - $95,000 depending on experience
