We care about every team member and their family, we offer competitive pay as well as an outstanding benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA, 401k, Paid Time Off, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability and more!Our facility is open 7 days per week with 1st and 2nd shifts working Monday - Thursday and a Weekend shift on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.What is a Tool & Die Technician?A tool and die technician is a skilled professional involved in the maintenance, repair, and operation of tools, dies, molds, and other equipment used in the manufacturing process. These technicians play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning and longevity of precision tools that shape and form metal. Their responsibilities may include troubleshooting and fixing issues with tools, performing routine maintenance, and collaborating with engineers and designers to optimize tool performance.In this role, you will:Read and interpret blueprints and die designs.Create, modify, and repair tools, dies, and molds using CAD software or manual techniques.Inspect finished tools and dies for accuracy, dimensions, and quality, making necessary adjustments.Identify and troubleshoot issues during production, implementing corrective measures to minimize downtime.Perform routine and non-routine maintenance, repairs, and sharpening of tools and dies to ensure consistent performance.Maintain accurate records of tool and die specifications, modifications, and maintenance activities.Schedule work through both CNC and WEDM for maximum efficiency.Work with press room personnel to do tool try outs for qualifications and part development. Adjust tooling as required.To succeed in this role, you must:Repair all production equipment and plant equipment.Perform scheduled preventive maintenance.Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems during production.Observes all company safety policies and procedures as well as maintain good housekeeping.Understanding of predictive, preventative maintenance concepts and commitment to continuing educationWe are seeking a team player who is reliable and punctual and willing to commit to our fabrication team having fun while working safe and producing quality efficiently. We are also willing to train the correct individuals!Our cutting edge, 100,000 square foot manufacturing facility is equipped with:
  • Wire EDM
  • CNC Machining Centers
  • Grinders
  • CNC turret punches (20 to 35 tons)
  • Lasers (Up to 4000 Watts 60x120 sheet size)
  • CNC press brakes (45 to 185 tons)
  • Punch presses (Progressive and Staged Tooling) (45 to 250 tons)
  • Resistance welders (75 KVA to 250 KVA)
  • Robotic Weld Cell
  • Tig, Mig, Plasma and Pulse Arc welding
