Job Description:Join a diverse team of thought leaders committed to leaving a positive mark in the Card Technology industry.As a Principal Data Architect, within the Card Technology Team, you will provide expertise to enhance and develop data architecture platforms based on modern cloud-based technologies as well as support the adoption of strategic global solutions.Job responsibilities
  • Advises cross-functional teams on data architecture solutions to achieve the target state architecture and improve current technologies
  • Develops multi-year roadmaps aligned with business and data architecture strategy and priorities
  • Creates complex and scalable data frameworks using appropriate software design
  • Reviews and debugs code written by others to deliver secure, high-quality production code
  • Contributes to the development of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologies
  • Creates durable, reusable data frameworks using new technology to meet the needs of the business
  • Mentors and coaches junior architects and technologists
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Formal training or certification on Data Architecture concepts and 10+ years of applied hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Expert in one or more architecture disciplines and programming languages
  • Deep knowledge of data architecture, best practices, and industry trends
  • Advanced knowledge of application development and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
  • Experience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex architecture problems in one or more technical disciplines
  • Experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager
  • Practical cloud native experience
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Deep expertise with products related to API's, Micro Services' frameworks, Data platforms, Data Streaming, and Stream processing technologies
  • AWS certification and experience with AWS services including database, storage, analytics, machine learning, and application integration services.
  • Experience engaging stakeholders across an organization to set strategy, align on priorities and deliver to a roadmap while managing to changing business needs and requirements
