Job Title:Sr. NPD EngineerJob Description:The Role:Entegris’ liquid filter and purifiers new product development team is a group of dynamic, innovative engineers collaborating to launch next generation material purity solutions into the high-tech semiconductor manufacturing industry. We are seeking a creative, highly motivated individual to drive leading-edge product design and development of chemical processes used to pre-condition our next generation products.This role is based out of Entegris’ Kaohsiung, TW facility, but collaborates heavily with the US based engineering team.In this role you will:Develop new product designs to meet customer requirements and outperform competitorsDesign and characterize new chemical processes to meet or exceed new product cleanliness requirementsEnable product launches at our new manufacturing facilityUnderstand market and industry roadmaps to drive development of advanced technologiesContribute to Entegris’ intellectual property portfolioPerform DOE’s and statistical analysis to make data driven decisionsWork with analytical teams to develop metrology to better predict product performanceProvide technical leadership on development projects, drive integration of new productsSupport alpha/beta sample production of new products to win key growth opportunitiesGenerate external data packages and technical papers specifying the performance of new productsPerform administrative functions including project status reports, schedule and budget management in addition to other routine engineering documentationMentor junior engineers and techniciansTravel internationally to support product development initiatives ~5%Traits we believe make a strong candidate:10+ years work-related technical experienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fieldExperience in the following areas is preferred:Project leadership experienceClean room manufacturingChemical separations, mass transfer, and extractionsFluid handling equipment, especially filtration and purificationAssembly processes including plastic bonding, sealing, web handlingWilling to be hands-on as needed in lab and clean room manufacturing environmentsStatistical analysis training preferredExcellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skillsFluency in English languageFlexibility on work schedule to collaborate with global teamYour success will be measured by:Success for the role is not defined solely on the outcome of a project but rather a combination of the results and how these results were achieved.Working effectively with global interdisciplinary project teams to develop and launch innovative products to marketAbility to multitask and manage multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously, adapt to changing prioritiesStriving to meet product/market launch windows and meet dynamic customer needsCreativity and innovation to identify and implement next generation solutions to drive product and process improvementDemonstrating strong fundamentals for the engineering process and decision makingAdherence to Entegris’ PACE values:People & TeamworkAccountability & IntegrityCreativity & InnovationDedication to Excellence
