- Individual GP of 45% or better
- Timesheets are entered daily
- On-time attendance at all mandatory company meetings
- 15Five review and submission completed weekly
- More than 90% of Financial Statement Delivery on or before the 15th
- Fully understand the business owner’s goals
- Stay in communication with the client team using 360 communication to check-in or follow-up with them on questions, especially during month-end
- Respond to clients within 1 business day
- Communicate through Client Goals with Weekly Client Updates
- Draft up and responsible for Notes in the Financial Packages
- Mentor and train their Staff to feel prepared to step into the next role at TGG and grow in their accounting knowledge o Review and coaching of staff towards their personal and career goals during weekly 1:1 meeting
- Quarterly Self-Performance Reviews and Performance Reviews of direct reports
- Attend weekly team meetings to discuss client action items
- Responsible for development, improvement, maintenance and documentation of full-cycle accounting processes by following the TGG Way
- Maintain client confidentiality
- Look for ways to cut costs and improve profitability
- Learn and master the client’s accounting software programs o Setup and sync of accounting programs and tools
- Always on the lookout for any fraud that might be occurring and report it immediately
- Review customer invoicing
- Review vendor bills and submit payments
- Approve & submit payroll
- P&L Scrubs
- Cash flow forecast update
- Resolution of collections
- Manage weekly recurring accounting processes as set by controller
- Responsible for Accuracy of balance sheet workbook
- Source document filing spot check
- Calculate monthly sales tax payment and submit to controller for review and remit payment
- Review final P&L scrub and approve journal entries that are prepared by staff
- Manage Month-End close timeline and checklist
- Review and update financial notes in financial packages
- Review staff's preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules
- Understand existing KPIs function and roll forward each month
- Make sure financial accuracy ties (statements to KPIs, exec summaries and charts graphs, footnotes)
- 941 reconciliations
- Prepare and submit sales tax returns with controller approval
- Review of process documents
- Responsible for coordinating, review, and submission 1099s on an annual basis
- Chart of accounts review
- Reclassification of contributions / distributions on the balance sheet and income statement to retained earnings
- Client recommendation to become more efficient
- Preparation and submission of personal property tax reviewed by controller
