- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to senior management to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and achievable financial plans.
- Track budget performance against actual results, investigating variances and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Provide financial guidance and support to department managers to ensure alignment with budgetary goals.
- Cash Flow Management:
- Manage cash flow projections and liquidity planning to ensure adequate funding for operational needs and capital investments.
- Oversee cash management activities, including cash disbursements, collections, and banking relationships.
- Implement strategies to optimize cash flow and working capital efficiency.
- Internal Controls and Compliance:
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct periodic reviews and audits of financial processes and systems to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance financial transparency, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Perform financial analysis and modeling to support business decision-making, investment evaluations, and strategic initiatives.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support to various departments and stakeholders as needed.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue enhancement, and process improvements to drive business performance.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA designation is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in food manufacturing.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis tools, and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
