At St. Luke’s, we ALL make a difference!ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Must produce high quality images, assist Radiologist in procedures, perform all duties as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Operates imaging equipment to make clinical diagnostic images as directed by Radiologists
  • Performs routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices under the direction of the Radiology Manager and Radiologists.
  • Demonstrates an awareness of radiation safety procedures for self and others.
  • Reviews Radiation Protection Plan Policy annually with documentation of signature and date.
  • Documents all fluoroscopy times in EMR and PACS.
  • Utilizes all radiographic equipment to perform x-rays including but not limited to surgical and portable equipment.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Must be registered by ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • Must be certified in BLS (Basic Life Support).
  • Must be knowledgeable in imaging procedures including radiography, fluoroscopy, mobile radiography, and C-arm equipment.
  • Must have an understanding of the range of treatment needed by patients.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and patient care skills, be team oriented and willing to perform other duties as assigned.
