- Monitors and improves production cost to determine trends and areas of improvement.
- Reviews fruit and product to ensure the proper quality control standards are consistent and appearance to
- Monitors operations and maintenance expenses and research ways to reduce costs while
- Analyzes workforce requirements.
- Interviews, hires and maintains a positive team of talent to encourage an environment that is
- Actively works with the Human Resources and Safety in policy development, employee
- Safety, employee development issues, and employee motivation.
- Monitors and ensures the workplace is safe, employees adherence to policies, safety
- Oversees the development and implementation of companywide policies and procedures.
- Identifies areas for improvement and looks for ways to minimize costs in all aspects of the
- Works in investigations and root cause analysis for non-compliances or other issues
- identified.
- Conducts performance evaluations and provides coaching and guidance to all operations
- Promotes a positive work environment.
- Ensures the facility is properly maintained, clean and presentable at all times.
- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural or management business or related 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in packing operations.
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Proven managerial or supervisory experience in a plant setting
- Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
