The is position reports directly to the Business manager.Job Responsibilities
Counts and receipts school monies.
Prepares change boxes for student, sports and special activities.
Prepares bank deposits and the corresponding cash receipts journal entry.
Process payments on accounts as they become due. Maintains files of paid invoices, charging expenditures to proper accounts.
Prepares a monthly reconciliation of contributions.
Assists with tuition collection and recordkeeping.
Assists with analyzing the financial statements and accounts for accuracy.
Assists with the annual budget preparation.
Provides general support to the Business Manager, Advancement and school offices if required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Demonstrates ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students in school environment and community.
Job RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have an accounting degree or experience in the accounting field and a commitment to the Catholic Church and Catholic Education.
