POSITION SUMMARYUnder the direction of the Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager and under the supervision of the RN-LPN, the Nursing Assistant provides direct, quality nursing care to patients.May perform clerical functions by preparing, compiling, and maintaining records in a nursing unit as directed by Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, Registered Nurse. Maintains adequate inventory of supplies needed for day to day operation of the unit.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTSLicenses and Certifications RequiredCurrent North Dakota CNA certification required.BLS certification required within orientation period.Educational RequirementsCertification required. Clerical training preferred.Experience RequirementsKnowledge of medical terminology preferred.Nursing Assistant experience preferred.Special Skills or Training RequirementsComputer and keyboarding skills.
