The counselor works to create guests for life, by proactively embracing Omni Hotels and Resorts service standards, adhering to safety regulations, and gaining the knowledge to assist guests with any needs.Responsibilities
  • Maintain active focus on all children in care, providing caring, energetic attention and consistent direction
  • Communicate clearly and supportively with parents regarding children’s needs, behavior, and related issues
  • Complete daily/weekly/monthly programs and activities as planned for each level of childcare as defined for various programs including but not limited to helping/ hosting special events
  • Accurately complete procedures for registration, daily sign-in/out, cleanliness, and safety
  • Clean and sanitize toys, equipment, and furniture within the childcare areas
  • Provide feedback to management about improvements that could be made regarding programming, planning, organizing, and policies
  • Attend and complete all required meetings and staff trainings throughout the year as assigned
  • SMILE and provide a positive environment for all members, staff, and guests
  • May be asked to perform other duties as assigned
Tools and Equipment:First Aid Bag, Computer, Microwave, Telephone, Craft Supplies (glue dots, foam, popsicle sticks, beads, construction paper, glue gun, paint, dye etc.), and Printer/ScannerQualifications
  • Must enjoy working with children of all ages
  • Must have flexibility with work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be CPR/Child Infant and CPR/AED certified, or must obtain certification upon hire
  • Yearly Background Check
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift moderate weight (50-60 lbs)
  • Must be willing to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions for extended periods of time
