We are looking to add a HOA division and this role will be well suited for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit!Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Property Community Association Manager (PCAM) to join our team in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of community associations within our portfolio. This role requires a strong understanding of property management principles, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of community associations, including condominiums, homeowners associations (HOAs), and other residential communities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for board members, homeowners, and vendors, addressing inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with association boards, ensuring effective communication and collaboration on all matters related to property management.
  • Coordinate and oversee property inspections, maintenance projects, and repairs to ensure compliance with association rules and regulations.
  • Prepare and present regular financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to association boards, providing insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
  • Enforce association policies, rules, and regulations, ensuring adherence by residents and vendors.
  • Oversee the hiring, training, and supervision of onsite staff and contractors, as needed.
  • Stay informed about relevant industry trends, legislation, and best practices in property management, and implement changes as necessary to enhance operations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
  • PCAM (Professional Community Association Manager) certification required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in property management, with a focus on community association management.
  • Strong knowledge of property management principles, including budgeting, financial analysis, and vendor management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
