This Trades Technician III is responsible for performing carpentry journeyman trades duties and serving as lead to a carpentry staff.Essential Duties
- Assigning work to staff, and following up on the completion of tasks and projects
- Processing work orders using a Computerized Asset Management System
- Performing carpentry installations, repairs, and general maintenance
- Assisting with the operating budget process
- Maintaining a healthy and safe working environment
- Performing highly complex installations and repairs, as well as general maintenance
- Responding to field and emergency calls, troubleshooting damage, and performing repairs or replacements
- Processing daily work requests, as well as maintaining records and preparing reports
- This job is a safety-sensitive position that will require a pre-employment drug test and subsequent random drug and alcohol testing.
The grade for this position is B233. Salary will be dependent on education and experience.Effective 4/11/2023, this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma, or G.E.D.
- Four years of carpentry experience
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.
- Experience in commercial carpentry
