- Marketing Initiatives: Design and execute promotional campaigns to boost customer engagement and increase product awareness.
- Partnership Development: Forge and strengthen strategic partnerships with nonprofit organizations, enhancing product visibility and reinforcing our corporate reputation.
- Market Analysis: Conduct regular visits to distribution areas to gather insights on customer preferences and represent our company at key industry events and fairs.
- Leadership and Integrity: Promote the company's mission and values, ensuring all operations adhere to the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
- Team Management: Directly lead and provide career development opportunities for team members and insurance company executives within distribution channels.
- Operational Oversight: Manage all aspects of job-related activities including premium collections, billing, claims monitoring, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Strategic Financial Planning: Develop strategic plans based on in-depth market research, focus groups, and financial analysis to guide financial outcomes.
- Product and Process Innovation: Utilize stakeholder feedback to improve insurance products and streamline processes.
- Problem Solving: Address business and operational challenges proactively, including system enhancements and compliance with new regulations.
- New Product Development: Drive the creation of innovative insurance products by analyzing market trends and customer needs, securing cross-functional support, and negotiating with potential partners.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: At least 5-8 years of related experience, preferably in banking and/or insurance product distribution, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of the insurance industry’s regulatory environment and product spectrum.
- Actuarial techniques to model and predict life and health insurance risks, helping to set competitive but financially sustainable premium rates.
- Comprehensive knowledge in determine coverage terms and premium costs based on risk assessment, utilizing a balanced approach between competitive pricing and financial risk management.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with a track record of motivating and managing diverse teams.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate market trends and performance metrics.
- Strategic and problem-solving mindset, capable of effective operational management and product development.
- Excellent bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
