Up to $29.65/hour plus monthly bonuses up to $2.97 per hour.Primary Duties:
  • To be responsible for repair and maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components of injection molding machines and equipment such as ovens, robots, thermolators, hot runner systems, dryers, material handling systems, and automated lubrication systems.
  • Visually inspects and troubleshoots machines and equipment.
  • Performs repairs and preventative maintenance including; dismantling machines and equipment, inspects and measures parts, re-assembles and tests for stability of repairs.
  • Measures, cuts, threads, and installs new and repairs existing pipe systems.
  • Sets up and operates metalworking tools such as lathe, drill press, grinder, band saws, and welding equipment.
  • Modifies computer controlled motion of robots.
  • Performs building maintenance and general carpentry.
  • Ability to troubleshoot PLC controlled equipment using laptop computer.
  • Ability to troubleshoot vision systems

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to apply the concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to perform documentation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and associates.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
  • Powered Industrial Truck Certified or able to be certified.
  • Your attendance and performance record will be reviewed for eligibility.
Qualifications Desired:
  • Strong electrical experience including a working knowledge of single phase & three phase along with AC & DC systems, 110, 220, and 480 volts, servo motors, and transformers.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic prints.
  • Prior experience working in a safety oriented environment.
  • Familiar with preventive and predictive maintenance philosophy.
  • Has the ability to troubleshoot 480 volt and lower AC and DC circuits.
  • Has the ability to troubleshoot pneumatic or hydraulic systems.
  • Degree / certificate in Industrial maintenance technology or willing to pursue further education through the apprenticeship program in order to progress through the training levels.
  • Prior experience with:
  • Automated equipment
  • PLC (Preferably Allen Bradley)
  • Operator interface (Allen Bradley Panel View)
  • Six axis robots (preferably ABB or Fanuc)
  • Vision systems (Cognex, Sensopart, Dalsa)
  • Light welding experience
  • Minor machining experience
  • Urethane or hot gluing applications
  • Industrial controls such as proximity sensor, reflective sensors, temperature controls, AC drives…
