Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Contracts Manager on behalf of a healthcare nonprofit based in Los Angeles, CA! This is a permanent hire opportunity offering a full-time onsite work schedule.The Contracts Manager is responsible for organizing the informational elements of the Contracts and Compliance Department to ensure smooth information flow and uphold compliance with employee and community provider records. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and finalizing contracts in accordance with corporate policies, procedures, and regulations.PERKS:

  • Annual salary range of $80,000-$95,000, depending on experience, and a robust benefits package!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain a Contract Status Log to track documents.
  • Handle both hardcopy and electronic contract documents.
  • Prepare less-complex contracts for signature and distribution.
  • Scan and input new and renewal contracts and related documents such as contracts, insurance, certificates, addendums, renewals, business associate agreements, etc.
  • Set reminders for critical dates such as expirables' due dates.
  • Manage required documents for vendor employees' contracts.
  • Review daily MediTract Alerts and request expiring documents from vendors including insurance, medical forms, licenses/certificates, etc.
  • Verify that new vendors are not on any exclusion lists.
  • Review and resolve exclusion report search findings.
  • Prepare, distribute, and monitor Vendor Evaluation Forms for signatures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A minimum of 2 years of contract experience.
  • Working knowledge of long-term care operational standards regulations.
  • Interaction with vendors via phone or email.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (mandatory) and preferred experience with Adobe Acrobat or similar document creation software.
