ResponsibilitiesPeraton is looking for a Network Solutions Architect who can both analyze the current networks and make plans on how to improve new networks.
  • Designs and develops new systems, applications, and solutions for enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks.
  • Ensures system security needs are established and maintained for operations development, security requirements definition, security risk assessment, systems analysis, systems design, security test and evaluation, certification and accreditation, systems hardening, vulnerability testing and scanning, incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
  • Provides analytical support for security policy development and analysis. Integrates new architectural features into existing infrastructures, designs cyber security architectural artifacts, provides architectural analysis of cyber security features, and relates existing system to future needs and trends, embeds advanced forensic tools and techniques for attack reconstruction, provides engineering recommendations, and resolves integration and testing issues.
  • May interface with external entities including law enforcement, intelligence and other government organizations and agencies.
QualificationsRequired:
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance is required.
  • Bachelors with 12+ years; Masters with 10+ years, Ph.D. with 7+ years; additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Demonstrated experience as a network engineer
  • The ability to analyze, document, and communicate the current customer network architecture
  • Demonstrated knowledge of different kinds of network topologies and the pros-and-cons of each
  • Must be able to get along well with others while working within and outside of teams

This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
