↵Job Summary:The Cashier is responsible to receive and process payment for services rendered or parts/materials purchased. He/She explains vehicle service recommendations to customers, prints out and writes up estimates and invoices, and accepts payment in cash or through the use of electronic point-of-sale equipment and credit/debit payment media. The Cashier records the payment amount and closes repair orders in the computer system. The Cashier must operate specific software programs to keep track of customer data such as service history, parts purchased, and/or contact information. He/She may need to calculate materials charges, repair charges, and taxes -- and must understand various types of warranties.The ideal Cashier candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a minimum of one-year of money-handling experience, a pleasant and helpful demeanor, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and an affinity for math.Benefits:
