We are committed to getting the job done while also believing in the value of a fun and inviting work environment where everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow, and advance their careers.Position Summary:The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for many of the location specific accounting functions, including but not limited to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Billings. Assignments include initiation of, or participation in, various projects, including researching information, providing analysis, and compiling data to convey relevant information.Primary Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Review and process all invoices following established processes
  • Ensure proper supporting documentation is provided for all invoices and that General Ledger coding is accurate
  • Establish and maintain professional line of communication with vendors and subcontractors
  • Provide excellent customer service to research and resolve issues as needed
  • Reconcile vendor account statements monthly
  • Responsible for reviewing and processing employee credit cards, including receipt analysis, coding and reconciliation
  • Compile weekly spreadsheet regarding Aged Payables and Unbilled Jobs
  • Lead the collections of past due receivables
  • Assist the location team with producing and mailing billings as appropriate
  • Assist in miscellaneous office duties as needed such as maintain employee cell phone accounts, write subcontracts and purchase orders.

Required Qualifications:
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent record keeping and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Education and Experience:
  • Associate’s Degree in business, accounting or the like required
  • Minimum of 3 years administrative experience required
  • Construction administrative experience beneficial
