- Position:Maintenance Technician I
- 2nd Shift:Mon-Fri 6AM-2PM
- Troubleshoot and repair all mechanical equipment as assigned.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams.
- Use and understand troubleshooting tools (Root Cause Analysis)
- Take action to repair equipment including modification of design, replacement of parts, adjustment of equipment settings, etc.
- Assessment of material requirements, requisition placement
- Maintain all mechanical equipment as assigned.
- Implement improvements to equipment.
- Return equipment to standard.

- Assessment of material requirements, requisition placement
- Organize and maintain all technical documentation for assigned equipment.
- Clearly communicate status of equipment/known issues/action plans with supervisors, mechanics, operators, and other employees on all shifts and in all departments, including strong shift change handoff of information, knowing when/how to elevate as appropriate.
- Ensuring Lines are meeting established efficiency metrics.
- Train others within job function and work to become Subject Matter Expert as required.
- Other duties as assigned by Leadership Team
- Troubleshoot and maintain Kauffman, Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs along with associated Ladder Logic, Service and repair Vacuum pumps, Battery Changing equipment and Charging stations.
- Troubleshoot and maintain MHE through manufacturers recommended PM schedules
- Adjust and maintain fire suppression systems
- Support innovation and new technologies, i.e. robotics, AGV and other material handling innovations.
- Troubleshoot and maintain ABB and Fanuc Pick and Place robotics along with calibration and testing of arm and end of arm equipment
- Identify issues with high speed equipment including technical specs, ladder diagrams, Allen Bradley PLC, wiring prints, pneumatic logic, hydraulic logic, as well as a variety of troubleshooting and measuring equipment. Install networking lines and equipment, i.e. cameras.
- Have experience with, and understand the operation of, forming plastics and merging substrates with heat and pressure, and identify machine issues when operating outside of acceptable specs.
- Troubleshoot, adjust, and replace AC and DC electrical equipment such as batteries, control stations, fuses, motor starters, relays, switches, and timers. Add electrical outlets within code.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and/or replace mechanical components such as motors, reducers, drive chains, sprockets, sheaves, pulleys, rollers, conveyor belts, bearings, and transfer plates
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and/or replace pneumatic equipment such as diverters, air compressors, lubricators, hoses, and coils
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and/or replace hydraulic equipment such as hoses, fittings, cylinders, and pumps
- Use welding equipment, basic machine shop and fabrication tools
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections of plant equipment such as but not limited to stretch wrappers, compactors and other power industrial equipment
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Trade School Certifications
- MHE Certifications
- Experience in the operation of high speed packaging equipment, including the operation of human interface robots and recipe storage, desirable
- 1+ years of experience MHE repair and maintenance.
- 1+ years of experience in a production environment.
- 1+ years of experience as Industrial Mechanic or like role.
