If you're looking for an opportunity to make an impact at the forefront of the industry, we have a place for you!As a Color, Material, and Finish (CMF) designer at Doosan Bobcat, you will be responsible for developing industry leading CMF designs that advance the global brand.This position requires an employee to be onsite in our Bismarck, ND office on a full-time basis. Please note, you must submit a Portfolio to be considered for this position - see instructions below.Role & Responsibility
- Developing CMF that push the visual and user experience to new levels with exterior, interior, and decal graphic designs
- Leading color, material, graphic decal, and finish management projects from concept through to production in close collaboration with engineering, product management, marketing, manufacturing, and suppliers
- Deep understanding customer's needs and values to generate the best solutions
- Researching heavy and compact equipment design trends also outside our industry for inspiration to create concepts
- Analyzing the competition and future CMF trends
- Keeping a strong focus on prototyping - every product we develop should go beyond what exists today
- Generating unique product future concept designs
- Working seamlessly with development teams to ensure smooth hand-offs
- Exhibiting a forward thinking and collaborative approach to design
- Must be self-motivated, adaptable, flexible, and able to multi-task across multiple active projects
- Ability to thrive in a place of rapid growth and change

- Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Industrial design, Graphic design, or related design discipline. Master's degree in Transportation, Industrial Design, or Graphic Design or equivalent preferred
- 7+ years of experience industrial design inside automotive or compact or heavy equipment or power sports industry
- High level technical skills (sketching, rendering, working with CAD data)
- High level and deep understanding of importance of design language
- A seasoned understanding of how things work and are manufactured
- Strong knowledge of design process and time/project management
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills to effectively communicate your ideas
- Excellent ability to communicate with global and cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and problem solve during the product development process
- Proficiency with 2D skills via sketching, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
- Proficiency with 3D visualization skills via KeyShot, Vred, Showcase, etc.
- Experience with advanced digital development solutions such as VR is a plus
