One line job description“The Videographer will steward the storytelling of the organization, with strong creative sensibilities.”As a videographer, you will work on a diverse body of work and will need to be as equally skilled and excited about the :30 talking-head spot as the student promo piece. Success in this role requires creative stamina and the ability to stay inspired and productive through tight deadlines and tricky briefs. You will need to give and receive constructive feedback and work collaboratively with each ministry in our House.Who we are looking for…A Creative Beast – The ideal candidate will be someone thoroughly established in telling stories that can thrive in a digital-forward future.   • Ownership of multiple projects - leading through ideation to creation to project development.
  • Lead, plan, manage, control and direct video shoots.
  • Edit and produce video projects related to teaching series, promotional videos, testimony videos and more.
  • Assist in managing projects and timeline with the Creative Arts Ministry
  • Develop and modify scripts and storyboards for video shoots
  • Develop ideas and concepts for teaching series
  • Ability to capture clear, professional quality video & audio
  • Ability to work with motion graphics video projects
  • Schedule, capture and edit stories of Cornerstone and those impacted by the ministry of the Church including special events. Strong ability to tell a story through video.
  • Coordinate actors, props, locations, and other resources in conjunction with the assistance of the Project Manager.
  • Ability to perform basic off-camera interviews for testimonies
Experience you have had:
  • Expert in audio capture and editing (syncing of audio, EQ, compression) in different situations from remote shoots to studio environments
  • Proficient in editing software (Final Cut, Premier, etc.)
  • Creating workflows, organizing data bases, platforms, and systems
  • Proficient in motion graphics using Adobe Suite (After Effects, Keyframes or similar, etc)
  • Expert in all aspects of lighting for indoor and outdoor shoots with varying production styles from remote shooting to studio environments
  • Ability to work and collaborate with a creative team including graphic designers, video producers, project manager, leadership, and volunteers.

  • Self-reliant with the ability to follow through with minimal directions
  • Generates new ideas and is able to work them through implementation
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
