Job Description:Manufacturing Production ManagerLocation: ScarboroughWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Production Manager to join the team at our largest manufacturing site in the UK. Based in Scarborough you will use your skills, knowledge and experience to oversee all manufacturing activities within a designated product range.The Company:

  • We need a Manufacturing Production Manager to lead and manage our Manufacturing Team Leaders and their associated teams.
  • This is a Full Time, Permanent role working on site Monday - Thursday 7:00 - 16:45.
  • Your number on responsibility will be to ensure products are manufactured to design specifications and customer requirements in an efficient and cost-effective timeframe.
  • Deliver the lean manufacturing principles within area of responsibility to improve build hour efficiencies and product quality.
  • You will oversee the daily achievement of planned production whilst maintaining and reporting on monthly KPI's.
  • Ensure Team Leaders utilise available labour and resources efficiently whilst operating at planned cost levels.
  • Ensure delivery of the required Quality levels, seeking to continuously improve product quality and build hour efficiencies.
  • Develop, motivate, lead and involve Teams and Team Leaders in improvement activities to achieve positive results.
  • To escalate any issues impacting ability to achieve targets and objectives via a Tier structure.
  • Install and maintain level of process control to deliver on key targets.
  • Ensure Team Leaders maintain Health, Safety and workplace housekeeping standards.
  • Adopt, endorse and promote ADL core Vision and Values.
What you will bring:
  • You will hold an IoM Certificate of Management, IOSH Managing Safely Certificate or have the equivalent experience.
  • Proven supervisory experience is essential for this role including proven leadership, motivation and delegation skills.
  • Lean Manufacturing Experience will also be very important for this role.
  • Relationship building will come easily to you - across all levels of seniority and all areas of the business.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • You will be computer literate with fantastic organisational and planning skills.
  • Things can be hectic here. You will remain calm under pressure and be able to prioritise a busy workload.
