You'll work with multiple cross-functional business partners, vendors, and Store leadership to ensure projects are executed on time, on budget, with minimal errors and re-work, and with a high level of customer service.Once you're eligible, you'll become an Owner in the company, so we're looking for commitment, hard work, and focus on quality and Customer service. Project Management / Management:
- Formulates, organizes, monitors inter-connected projects; collaborates on / integrates cross-functional projects and program activities
- Oversees / coordinates on progress of operations, special projects, and project management; ensures programs deliver desired outcomes; coordinates cross-project activities
- Assesses program performance; works to maximize / provide options to improve ROI
- Oversees change / risk / resource management across programs
- Prepares reports for senior leadership on impact of decisions related to design, scheduling, expenses, competitive analyses, and process improvements
- Supports a culture of cost clarity and expense control
- Leads a team responsible for coordination and successful completion of facility capital / non-capital and expense projects; leads and evaluates project leaders / managers, and other Partners
- Leverages project management software / systems
- Collaborates with other leaders and integrated teams
- Develops working relationships with local governing agencies and related industry experts to ensure a strong resource base to accomplish necessary construction activities and promote innovation
- Fosters / promotes / models extraordinary customer service performance
- Implements processes / strategies to ensure approved project budgets meet cost, quality, and schedule goals
- Monitors / controls deadlines, budgets, and efficient strategy / tactics
- Oversees capital / operational expenses; communicates potential overspends
- Serves as a liaison to Accounting for budget reviewsWhat is your background?
- A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience
- 5+ years of cumulative experience in retail construction management and high-level project management related to retail construction
- Experience working with multi-functional construction teams
- Experience with online project management and online maintenance software
- Experience with a big-box retailer with emphasis on grocery, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, lighting, plumbing and all facility equipment (preferred)
