- Maximise customer satisfaction by providing the highest food quality in the pastry section, ensuring outstanding attention to detail.
- Adherence to standards of quality, preparation, recipes and presentation in the pastry section.
- Maintaining product consistency in terms of seasonings, portions and appearance of dishes.
- Be able to self-motivate to ensure that mis-en-place is always prepared for day ahead.
- Have a strong creative flare for food presentation and be able to bring new ideas to menu creation.
- Maintaining a good working relationship with the rest of the kitchen team as well as Front of House, ensuring good communication.
- Ability to work under pressure at times with the kitchen team and also the front-of-house team.
- Complying with health and safety regulations, including HACCP.
