The Underground Drilling Technical Services team has an excellent opportunity for a Customer Support Engineer to ensure our customers get world-class 24/7 support globally. This position is permanent, full-time, and based at our global technology and manufacturing center for drilling equipment in Tampere, Finland.Your mission – technically skilled, customer service minded expertYou will be part of the Underground Drilling Technical Support team and you will work in close collaboration with our sales teams, R&D and product management.Your duties include:

Reacting to customer support needs and monitoring customer satisfaction
Developing data-driven capabilities of remote technical support
Transferring sales organizations and end customers to digitalized and automized underground mining environment with focus on underground drilling equipment
Supporting customers in equipment data transfer, connectivity, and network setup issues
Promoting AI in underground drilling technical support
Carrying out field service trips in problematic situations where factory level technical knowledge or drilling application operations optimization skills are needed.
Commissioning of intelligent underground drilling equipment and performance follow-up

Your background and what we find importantTo succeed in this position, you will need

M.Sc (/B.Sc) degree in relevant technical field, such as automation, software development or electrics
Hands-on experience on modern technology applications e.g., modern control system technologies, digital data solutions in customer service
Proficiency in maintaining automation equipment
Customer service attitude
Facilitation and presentation skills
Willingness for frequent international travel

We expect that you have energetic, innovative and proactive way of working combined with good communication and collaboration skills. Experience on heavy machinery industry and/or mining or tunneling environment is considered a big plus.
