- You will assist the Unit Director in planning, implementing and assessing the daily functions of Nursing Care and Services provided in the unit on all shifts.
- You will perform professional duties involved in a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, with latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative.
- You will be responsible for patient care, comfort and completion of required procedures.
- You will participate in CQI activities.
- You will function as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.
- You will possess knowledge of growth and development; and have an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups.
- Student from an approved school of Radiologic Technology or receiving student training on the job under direct supervision of a certified technologist.
- Completed the first year of a 2-year Radiologic Technologist program in an AMA approved school program.
- Must have knowledge and skills in routine diagnostic examinations.
- Must have knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
