- Design, implement, and optimize email and SMS campaigns using Klaviyo, ensuring that campaigns are engaging, on-brand, and aligned with business goals.
- Develop and schedule email and SMS flows, such as welcome series, abandoned cart reminders, post-purchase follow-ups, promotional offers, and seasonal campaigns.
- Segment customer lists based on behavior, demographics, and purchase history to send personalized and relevant messages.
- Write clear, persuasive, and engaging copy for all email and SMS campaigns, including subject lines, body text, and calls to action, ensuring the messaging resonates with the target audience.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaign strategies, ensuring alignment with overall brand objectives and sales goals.
- Continuously test and optimize subject lines, copy, visuals, and calls to action through A/B testing and data analysis to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
- Leverage customer data from Klaviyo to create data-driven campaigns, understanding customer behavior and using it to drive personalization.
- Analyze the performance of email and SMS campaigns, providing reports on key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and revenue.
- Use data insights to optimize campaign performance and make recommendations for future campaigns.
- Monitor deliverability rates, bounce rates, and unsubscribes, troubleshooting issues to maintain a healthy CRM list.
- Set up and maintain automated workflows for different customer lifecycle stages (e.g., welcome, abandoned cart, win-back, VIP, etc.) in Klaviyo.
- Continuously optimize automated workflows based on performance, customer engagement, and business objectives.
- Monitor and refine trigger-based messages to ensure timely, relevant, and effective communication with customers.
- Segment customer lists based on various factors such as purchase behavior, engagement, demographics, and lifecycle stages to deliver targeted messaging.
- Clean and maintain the CRM database to ensure high-quality and up-to-date customer lists.
- Ensure compliance with privacy laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM) in all email and SMS communications.
- Work closely with the creative, design, and e-commerce teams to ensure campaigns are visually appealing and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to ensure that promotional campaigns are integrated across all channels, including email, SMS, website, and social media.
- Drive customer engagement and retention by creating compelling and personalized experiences that encourage repeat purchases and build customer loyalty.
- Continuously explore ways to increase the value of the CRM channel, including using Klaviyo's advanced features for predictive analytics, dynamic content, and more.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in CRM marketing, email marketing, and SMS campaigns, ideally with Klaviyo or similar platforms.
- Strong copywriting skills with experience writing for email, SMS, and other direct marketing channels.
- Experience with email marketing tools, CRM platforms (e.g., Klaviyo), and SMS marketing tools.
- Proficiency in Klaviyo, including campaign creation, automation, segmentation, A/B testing, and reporting.
- Knowledge of email marketing best practices, including subject lines, copywriting, and list segmentation.
- Understanding of analytics tools to track campaign performance and optimize based on data insights.
- Familiarity with SMS marketing and legal requirements around text message marketing (e.g., TCPA).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
