- Work with Directors to develop timelines and the project schedule, identify the critical path, and set benchmarks
- Serves as the project lead in the development and implementation of special planning projects, research and/or studies related to the overall strategic priorities and organizational goals of the Authority.
- Coordinate and conduct onsite pre-construction meetings as needed
- Review proposals, purchase orders, and scopes of work then provide feedback to the Directors
- Develops and implements formal tracking mechanism (i.e/ inventories, databases, etc.) to monitor progress and performance of assigned projects and programs for Station Rehab/PLPP/Smart Programs.
- Coordinate and schedule inspections determined by supervisors
- Manage the project budget for assigned projects
- Coordinate and attend weekly meetings with management
- Establish and maintain effective, professional business relations with client, customers, and coworkers
- May perform basic administrative and clerical functions, which may include filing, copying, binding reports, simple typing, etc.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude in all correspondence both within and outside the company Perform other duties as assigned
- 4-5 Years of Construction Experience
- Familiar with transportation regulations is required
- High School Diploma or GED required, BA in administration, Public administration, or in related field.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with an innate focus on customer/client service and a high level of professionalism.
- Advanced proficiency in the use of software applications, specifically Project Management & Design Software, Microsoft Excel, and Word
- Ideally, you'll also have:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize and adhere to tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail with a track record for accuracy
