Additionally, we offer generous wages and perks to our full- and part-time food service employees!A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A KITCHEN LEAD - SOUS CHEFThe typical schedule for this part-time food service position is about 10 hours per week, with shifts between the hours of 4 PM - 1 AM, Tuesday - Saturday. Common shifts at our restaurant are:
  • 4 PM - 6 PM
  • 10 PM - 12 AM
  • 11 PM - 1 AM
As a Part-Time Kitchen Lead - Sous Chef at SoHo Bistro & Lounge, you will collaborate with our experienced team of chefs to prepare and deliver exceptional meals to our customers. Your day-to-day responsibilities include preparing fresh ingredients, supervising the kitchen staff, ensuring the quality of the dishes, monitoring inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.You're also responsible for ensuring all meals are prepared following regulations and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all kitchen employees. But don't worry, we provide all the necessary training and support to make sure you feel comfortable and confident in your new role.   • Experience as a line or sous chef
  • Food handlers permit or the ability to acquire one
