  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced colleague for our Analytics and Insights team within the US and Canada Marsh and Mercer Sales Operations, Enablement and Insights organization.
  • You will play a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making and strategic planning across multiple business units for the US and Canada region.
  • Your expertise in reporting, analytics, and customer insights will enable our organization to gain a competitive edge and achieve our strategic goals.
  • You will collaborate on a team of analysts and data specialists delivering digital analytics solutions and actionable insights to executive leadership and business segment/zone leaders across Marsh and Mercer in the US and Canada region.

We will count on you to:
  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the Reporting and Analytics function, aligning it with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with global commercial and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define KPIs, and design and develop reports and dashboards using Microsoft PowerBI (or similar BI platforms).
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that will inform business strategies and initiatives.
  • Provide accurate and timely management reports, performance metrics, and customer insights to senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data governance and quality control processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in reporting and analytics, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Train and mentor sales operations team members and local market operations support colleagues on reporting tools, techniques, and best practices.
  • Partner closely with MMC’s Global Insights and Analytics team, the Sales Technology and Platform team, and MGTI to optimize data infrastructure and ensure seamless data integration and accessibility.
  • Lead change management initiatives to drive adoption of data-driven decision-making and a culture of continuous improvement.
What you need to have:
  • Overall experience from 5 to 10+ years with a Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience working with large and complex data sets, and ability to extract insights from raw data.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft PowerBI or similar BI tools such as Tableau or QlikView, including report development, data modeling, and dashboard design.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team of analysts and data specialists.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data querying languages.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
