- Develop product solutions, including first-of-kind solutions, utilizing the existing and planned portfolio and identifying portfolio gaps required to gain business with dream accounts.
- Perform proof of concept of technical solutions in preparation for commercialization
- Provide input to Product Teams for commercialization on technical solutions and business cases.
- Collaborate and hand off mature applications to After Sales Service.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product applications at key accounts. Develop and maintain relationships with Product Management, Product Development, S/C, Customer Service, Product Teams, Sales, Business Development, Center of Excellence, and Customers.
- Interact with key customers to understand their requirements at a systems level and provide technical support.
- Provide on-site support to the customer from business development to commissioning of first-of-kind systems.
- Ability to travel within the region 15%.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field.
- 10+ Years of relevant experience with variable speed drives and their application.
- Deep curiosity about customers, technology, and product solutions.
- Effective verbal communication skills and ability to explain complex technical models and theories.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

- Understanding of the Danfoss product portfolio and applications at the systems level.
- Experience developing drives, drive applications, and/or electrification applications.
- Experience with fabrication methods, additive manufacturing, and assembly processes to support hardware concepts that support series production and utilized during the development phase.
- Working knowledge of computer-aided engineering design tools, including solid modeling and process (Creo/Windchill as an example), simulation tools for thermal analysis, mechanical robustness as well as PC-based computer equipment and peripherals.
- Lab Experience and familiarity with power supplies, oscilloscopes, meters, function generators, multichannel data recorder systems, and experiment setup/measurement
- Experience with industrial automation, cabinet design, and/or outdoor solutions is a plus.
