Technical Lead (Java)

• Collaborating within small, highly cohesive agile teams, each with a defined mission and accountability for significant outcomes that benefit both the organization and its clientele.
• Engaging with organizational stakeholders to establish best practices concerning APIs, security, compliance, roadmap planning, and system reliability.
• Contributing to the technical roadmap of software features.
• Developing scalable, dependable, and sustainable APIs capable of handling substantial transaction volumes.
• Cultivating an inclusive, supportive team culture with a strong emphasis on ownership and accountability for project deliverables.

• Pragmatic mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with professional software engineering principles across the development lifecycle (e.g., coding standards, code reviews, version control, build processes, testing, operations, monitoring, etc.).
• Minimum 8+ years of software development experience; however, exceptional candidates with fewer years of experience will also be considered.
• Ideally, 3+ years of Java experience, though proficiency in other general-purpose programming languages will be valued.
• 2-3 years of experience in leading, coaching a team of 5-10 members.
• Understanding of system architecture and optimization for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Proficiency in database design, particularly for large-scale financial systems.
• Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems or message queues.
• Professional exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Enterprise architecture expertise.
• Fluency in English.

• Ability to work and reside in Ho Chi Minh City.
• B.Sc or M.Sc in Computer Science or a related field, complemented by hands-on development experience.
