REQUIREMENT: Currently live within 20 miles of Garden Grove, California
REQUIREMENT: Be authorized to legally work in California
REQUIREMENT: Minimum of one year experience within a manufacturing and/or fabrication setting
REQUIREMENT: Be mechanically minded and experienced with developing solutions for challengesCAD Draftsman Summary of Duties:
  • Performs skilled work in creating and updating CAD drawings of existing and new product designs as well as interpreting sketches and physical works into CAD drawings.
  • Convert sketches or marked-up prints into engineering drawings utilizing AutoCAD software in accordance with processes and procedures.
  • Interact with, support, and manage employees to optimize quality and performance at each workstation.
  • Understand engineering blueprints, requirements and plans to know exactly what is required of any project.
  • Conduct quality control checks, help interpret drawings and instructions, and manage materials and supplies.
  • Interface with workers and answer questions regarding drawings and applications.
  • Keeps work areas organized and clean, conducts safe work practices, communicates with coworkers and supervisors.
Assembler Summary of Duties:
  • Follow detailed assembly instructions, production processes and procedures. Assists with materials handling, inventory, and special projects.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools and fabrication machinery to assemble and modify parts for assembly.
  • Pay close attention to detail and quality in performing assembly duties.
  • Disassembles and assembles equipment, moves materials into inventory, helps to pack and ship materials.
  • Assists with materials handling, inventory, and transportation.
  • Assists with cutting, preparing, and fabricating materials.
Core Skills:Strong communication skills:
  • Ability to manage schedules, time management, and materials management
  • Experience in CAD design and AutoCAD software 2D and 3D
  • Experience with weld symbols, structural shapes, and detail call outs
  • Experience in various fabrication methods for steel and aluminum structures
  • Experience in reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, sketches and other technical instructions
  • Experience with quality control procedures, measurement equipment and visual inspection practices
  • Ability to communicate clearly and directly, and build strong interpersonal relationships
  • Ability to speak English and Spanish technical information
  • Ability to work on multiple priorities with frequent interruptions
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail
  • Ability to coach co-workers in how to interpret drawings
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees
  • Experience with troubleshooting equipment problems and design conflicts
  • Experience in welding techniques including SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, Oxy-Acetylene
  • Experience with vertical machining center and drill press setup
  • Experience with modern CNC controls, clamping and fixturing
  • Experience in cutting techniques including cold saw, band saw, shear, and punch press
  • Experience with saw setup, shear setup, and punch press setup
  • Experience with plasma cutting and Oxy-Acetylene cutting
  • Experience in various methods of cleaning and preparing materials
  • Experience in fixturing materials and fabrication of fixtures
  • Experience using saws, shears, grinders, sanders
  • Experience using drill motors, drill presses
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools
License:
  • A valid California driver's license is required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Strength to perform average lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally over 70 pounds
  • The agility, equilibrium and coordination as required when climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling and balancing under precarious conditions
  • Arm, hand and finger dexterity
  • Good eyesight and color perception.
