Job DescriptionJob Summary:The Regional Catering Director will serve as a support function to the Southeast Region's overall catering, culinary, and financial excellence. The Southeast Catering Director will primarily partner with in unit Catering Directors and other catering staff (including hourly) thru the District Manager, to ensure and establish consistent processes, standards, and pricing models at every level of catering with guest experience at the forefront at all timesKey Competencies:

#FS-500Job Responsibilities
  • Create a catering lead network within the region to be able to share industry standards/trends, ideas, best practices, training, and Aramark Catering Resources, to provide guidance and vision like other champion roles.
  • Train, develop and execute an end-to-end process including sales (planning, coordination, pricing, menu costing, billing), operations execution (plan-o-grams, set up, staffing), and presentation (set up, food) to include different tiers from small to large events as well as account size.
  • Ensure large-scale VIP events are designed and executed.
  • Partner with culinary team for a collaborative approach of successful execution of events.
  • Interacts with client management and maintains effective client and guest relations at all levels with client organization. May participate in sales process and negotiation of contracts.
  • Plan, execute, and participate in a schedule of catering showcases across the region to partner with the culinary, marketing, and retention teams for client exposure opportunities.
  • Assists with catering growth strategies and plans for achieving within the accounts and region. Implement a comprehensive marketing plan with associated collateral.
  • Assist local account teams in the design and execution of catering events. These events are typically VIP events; however, the Regional Catering Director could be asked to manage smaller more routine events based on business need.
  • Identify and develop future catering leaders within the region. Motivate and recognize positive behaviors within the team.
  • Review and implement action plans to address revenue and profit growth at accounts as needed.
