Job Title: IT Business AnalystPosition Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Business Analyst to join our team. The IT Business Analyst will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions by gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements for IT projects and initiatives. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, analytical abilities, and a deep understanding of both business and technology.Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for IT projects and initiatives.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and design solutions that meet business needs.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate and efficient implementation of requirements.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis and manage stakeholder expectations to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Perform business process analysis and workflow modeling to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Develop and maintain documentation such as business requirements documents, use cases, and user stories.
  • Conduct impact analysis to assess the potential implications of proposed changes or enhancements.
  • Participate in project planning, estimation, and prioritization activities.
  • Provide support and assistance to end users during testing, training, and implementation phases.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on IT projects.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation techniques.
  • Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall software development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with business process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN, Visio) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of IT systems and technologies such as ERP, CRM, and cloud platforms is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or related field.
  • Experience in specific industries or domains (e.g., healthcare, finance, retail).
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI).
  • Experience with software development tools and technologies (e.g., JIRA, Git, DevOps).
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).
