In this role, you will oversee the service department, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction at every stage of the service journey.   • Enhance Service Department efficiency for customer satisfaction, sales, and cost control.
  • Set annual Service Department goals and budgets in line with organizational objectives.
  • Develop and execute a marketing plan, monitor results.
  • Recruit, train, and retain key talent.
  • Coordinate customer events and negotiate service settlements.
  • Manage work-in-progress and rework.
  • Implement best practices and standardized processes.
  • Submit warranty claims on time and maintain service facilities.
  • Fulfill assigned duties.
Service Manager Qualifications:
  • High School diploma/GED required (Associates/Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • In-depth knowledge of heavy equipment technology.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a heavy or ag equipment service department (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with John Deere (green), CASE IH, AGCO, Kubota, CLAAS, and other ag equipment OEMs is a plus but not required.
  • Supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong communication, math, and analytical skills.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Team building and leadership skills.
