Cleveland Central CatholicCleveland, OhioCleveland Central Catholic High School is seeking a full time business/finance teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • As a member of the school faculty, the business/finance instructor will be responsible for teaching financial literacy, personal finance, and business law classes as assigned by the principal. • Implement the curriculum in accordance with the standards set forth by the Diocese of Cleveland and the Ohio Department of Education. • Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and critical thinking. • Utilize various teaching methodologies to accommodate diverse learning styles. • Collaborate with colleagues • Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and other events throughout the year. • Maintain a safe and effective learning environment. • Provide outstanding and engaging instruction to students. • Monitor students and complete other school-related responsibilities as assigned by the principal. • Maintain accurate records and effectively communicate progress with students, parents, and school administrators.QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree or higher • 7-12 business or social studies teaching certification through the Ohio Department of Education • Strong commitment to the mission of the Diocese of Cleveland and the Catholic Church. • Prior experience teaching similarly aged students is preferred, but not required. • Candidates must also be able to pass FBI and BCI background checks and complete the Diocese of Cleveland VIRTUS program.Interested candidates, please submit a cover letter, resume, and contact information for three references and employment-application-diocese-of-cleveland.pdf to: employment@ccc-hs.org SUBJECT LINE: BUSINESS/FINANCE TEACHING POSITION
