- Work with R&D leadership and scrum teams to assess current systems and processes with an eye toward continuous improvement.
- On a roving basis, embed with scrum teams to assess current agile practices and coach for improvement.
- Establish an appropriate level of documented policy/procedure to reflect our ways of working and enable more effective onboarding of new staff.
- Facilitate learning and development among team members of all levels through individual and team coaching.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and individual accountability for processes and outcomes.
- Champion the appropriate use of metrics and other objective measures by teams
- Lead standups and planning forums, e.g., Scrum of Scrums, Release Planning
- Proven experience as an Agile coach
- Experience with both Scrum and Kanban
- Familiarity with a variety of approaches to scale Agile to mid-sized organizations (50 to 100 developers) without an excess of management overhead
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Hands-on experience with organizational change management methodologies
- Strong problem solving and diagnostic skill set.
- Agile coaching certification, e.g., Scrum Alliance Certified Enterprise Coach or Certified Scrum Trainer
- Bachelor's degree, ideally in a technical or hard science field
- Prior history working in other R&D roles (e.g., Developer, QA Engineer, PO) is a plus.
- Hold a valid EU work visa.
