Works directly with the market-based philanthropy teams and coordinates with a collaborative team approach to identify and qualify major donor prospects in support of each market's philanthropy goals.Job Requirements:Education and Work Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in fundraising, business administration, health administration or research or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
  • Master's degree: Preferred
  • Five years' philanthropy experience: Preferred
  • One year leadership experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
  • Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) accreditation: Preferred
Essential Functions:
  • Provides prospect research profiles for key principal, planned and major gifts prospects. Prepares and manages monthly moves management and prospect strategy meetings.
  • Conducts prospect research using available resources, including directories, periodicals, on-line information, prospect screening services, public records, news clippings, and full-text news sources. Prepares individual, Foundation, and corporate research profiles based on research findings that outline current and historical relationships with AH and include financial and professional information.
  • Provides financial and analytical reports. Develops a data mining program using available technology and tools maximizing the data in the RE database.
  • Provides prospective prospect research looking at donors who support other medical centers and other closely aligned organizations.
  • Provides support to prospect research analysts that provide second-tier prospect research services.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
