We’re seeking a full-time Mechanical and Plumbing Quality Control Reviewer to be an integral member of our team. Our Quality Control Reviewers review our documents to make sure they adhere to our standards for quality and best practices. Their overall goal is to aid in the reduction of errors and omissions, while helping to maximize the accuracy, thoroughness, appearance, efficiency, constructability and serviceability of our projects.   • North Carolina- Charlotte or Raleigh
  • South Carolina- Charleston
  • Virginia- Richmond, Fairfax, or Virginia Beach
  • Maryland- Baltimore
Experience
  • 10+ years of mechanical and plumbing engineering experience, preferably with large institutional or commercial projects from design through construction administration.
  • Good working knowledge of codes and standards such as the IPC, IMC, IECC, IBC, NEC, ASHREA, and SMACNA.
  • A four-year engineering degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
  • Strong communication skills are essential, and the ability to work in a collaborative AE environment with a positive can-do attitude.
  • Ability to successfully review multiple projects with minimal oversight and with a strict attention to detail.
  • Reviews will focus on the quality of the mechanical and plumbing documents, as well as their coordination with other disciplines.
  • Develop and maintain historical information relative to previous project problem areas and instruct technical staff as to future avoidance.
Software Proficiencies
  • Working knowledge of Bluebeam is preferred but can be taught.
