You will play a key role in shaping the division’s future by delivering hands-on leadership support to both company Finance departmentsDuties and responsibilities
  • Ensure the integrity of the accounting information and accurate Marmon SPI compliant financial statements through strong hands-on leadership, internal controls, and accounting knowledge.
  • Improve and implement new processes to ensure continued improvement and innovation.
  • Develop and implement strategic financial plans that align with growth objectives.
  • Manage budgeting processes, monitor variances, and recommend corrective actions to optimize financial performance.
  • Oversee cost accounting functions and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with senior management to translate financial data into actionable insights that drive informed decision-making.
  • Travel as required (20%)
  • Lead or assist in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • BA or BS in Accounting
  • CPA preferred
  • 5+ years senior accounting role
  • Demonstrated ethical decision-making skills while possessing the experience to proactively approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset, focusing on finding effective solutions
  • Proven track record of success in fast paced environment
  • Strong operational acumen with ability to identify and analyze business trends
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills with remote teams
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial information into clear and concise reports for diverse audiences
Working conditions
  • Salaried, hybrid position with hours mainly Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm. Some evenings and weekends may be required.
Physical requirements
  • Manual dexterity, auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis
  • Ability to work for extended periods of time sitting, bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis.
