We believe in fairness and choose to be honest, transparent and authentic in everything we do.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning Facilitation: Support the development of the Division Strategic plan and other strategic documents.Trend Analysis and Forecasting: Develop select analytics to understand historical industry trends, forecast future trends, and monitor key changes in the current business environment.Financial Modeling: Finance background in forecasting & experience in large scale economics.Research Support: Provide actionable insights and analysis on an as required basis for the Division Director of Strategy and service, including sourcing independent research. Undertake research and analysis to ensure robust and consistent planning across the divisions business units.Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:Fundamental understanding of financial statements and benchmarking.Experience with model creation & data management.Experience in presentation and report development for professional review.Exposure to engineering and manufacturing processes.Ability to create 5 year financial forecast and study historical forecast plans.5+ years in a client service role (accounting, consulting, etc.)Degree in Finance or Economics or MBA preferred or Engineering with analytical support experience.Founded in 1871, Weir is a world leading engineering business with a purpose to make mining operations smarter, more efficient and sustainable.
