- Move ducks in accordance with Duck Well-Being and Care and Handling Guidelines. Recertified annually on Duck Well Being, Duck Care and Handling Guidelines.
- Carry out daily duties such as unloading market age duck trailers, handling fatigued ducks using totes and carts, moving ducks from barn to round room and moving ducks from the round room to the belt.
- Wash and disinfect Market Age Duck Truck and Trailers as needed in a timely manner.
- Communicate to Supervisor or Lead any irregularities observed in the Holding House, such as non-functional equipment, poor air quality, etc.
- Supports the Holding House Manager in the direction of deviations in efficiency, quality, and safety and takes corrective action as required.
- Performs related duties as required.
- Poultry rearing experience preferred.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Follow safety, well-being, and biosecurity protocols.
- Work effectively with others and communicate well.
- Resolve minor loading/unloading and equipment operation issues.
